Reviews, opinions

“I love returning to Camino Art House. It’s a truly beautiful setting.
Since 2020, I have hosted writing workshops at the house and find it has all the facilities I need. It’s accessible from Las Palmas, but feels far away enough that it’s a rural escape from the city.
There is ample space to explore outdoors with terraces, gardens, wild land and even caves. Inside the house, there is room to host talks and run activities, as well as comfortable accommodation. In addition, the meals provided are delicious, timely and healthy.
Most of all, the atmosphere at Camino is one of acceptance, expression and creativity. If you are looking to host a workshop on Gran Canaria, this is a great place to do it.”

“Camino is a green heavenly valley with inspiring places for any kind of music, voice, movement, dance or theatre workshops. You can work in a bamboo grove, an orange orchard or on a terrace of the house. If the weather is rainy, you can even be in a cave – a group of around 10 participants can fit there.
Bringing a sunscreen and a hat for the day and a thick pullover for the night to Camino is always a good idea. It is an OUTDOOR workshop space: if you want to spend your day dancing on a wooden floor under a roof, or rehearsing a theatre play in a black box, you will not find it there. If you search for private rooms with private showers, you will be disappointed too. But flexible participants who appreciate wonderful views, a close contact with nature and each other, as well as delicious cuisine, will simply love it.
I have enjoyed all my improv theatre workshops and shows in Camino in 2021 and 2022 and I am looking forward to coming back again.”

“I run a macramé workshops and mini art workshops in Camino Art House and it was a lovely experience – every time. The location is incredible, with a stunning view of a green valley and many hidden treasure spots all over the land that can serve as workshop facilities. The house is full of inspiring art, art supplies and artists, so the creative atmosphere there is incredibly contagious, even for those visitors who never had anything to do with art before! Bea, the owner, and all the volunteers there are truly committed to the project, which can be felt in the quality of the care, food and the experiences provided. It’s all from the heart – for the heart, check it out for yourself!”Patrycja Schumacher, Shumi, creator, theater, dance, Poland,
