The workshop lasts two hours and begins with a short introduction to cyanotype, an ancient photographic technique that uses sunlight to imprint images onto paper.
After a brief theoretical overview, the experience unfolds as a mostly hands-on, slow and experimental practice.
Participants will move through every step of the process, working with photosensitive materials and natural light, and will create one or two unique, one-of-a-kind prints to take home.
All materials are included.
The cost is €10 for those who wish to print their own photograph, prepared on acetate.
The cost is €7 for those who prefer to explore the technique using flowers, leaves, or natural objects, brought or gathered freely, allowing nature itself to shape the image.
