Yoga Camp and Earth Skills in Lulla, the Hungarian Tuscany

Welcome to Yoga Camp and Earth Skills in Lulla!

We are happy to invite you to our 4 days long mini-camp in the heart of Hungarian Tuscany, in a very small quiet village, called Lulla. It is only 15 kms from Lake Balaton. This is your perfect place to escape your noisy, busy life and slow down for a few days, refill yourself with positive energies, and deepen your knowledge of Yoga. In the main time, you can participate in the workshops that we call Earth Skills. It is a nice variety of skills that can be important and necessary to find harmony within yourself and between you and the nature around you.  These workshops will include theoretical and practical parts, and you will be involved in small games and creative exercises too.

Hatha Yoga

The yoga teacher is Bea Baltavari. Bea has been teaching Hatha Yoga for 3 years, mostly on Gran Canaria. She is the founder of Camino Art Hostel, where she organizes yoga events and workshops and trying to bring people closer to nature and art.

Her style of yoga teaching is a smooth flow of infusion: she likes to invite different styles to her classes, lets intuition leads her in improvising but always build a strong foundation from the roots of traditional Hatha Yoga. At the final state, when the work is done, all participants will feel complete, light, joyful and energized. Workshops will be connected to yoga theory, nature and creativity.

Accommodation and food

The Yoga Camp is based in Lulla, at Lillalulla Guesthouse, which is a recently built, Hungarian farmhouse. In 2015 Perger-Wenszky Lilla and Perger Csaba decided to follow their dreams and opened a guesthouse where Lilla can cook for their guests. They are living a modern countryside-type lifestyle, focusing on hospitality, gastronomy and the introduction of local natural and community values. They are using local products, growing their own vegetables and having their own chickens. When they are not busy selling their own produces (sauces, jams, syrups, etc.) on local markets they like cycling in the nearby forest.

Participants will be accommodated in one of the apartments in the old farmhouse in double or shared rooms. Lilla will be responsible for preparing the food: vegan breakfast, lunch and dinner. She has been actively engaged in gastronomy for 4 years (but of course her first experiences with cooking and baking comes from early childhood). She is an excellent cook of traditional Hungarian cousin and experienced chef when it comes to specific diets, like vegetarian, vegan, gluten or dairy free diets.

Program

The camp is 3 full days and 2 half days long. Includes yoga classes (indoor or outdoor), workshops (indoor or outdoor), a bike trip to Tihany, and one or two nights of stargazing. We kindly ask you to adapt to a flexible program, because many program points depend on the weather. Yoga classes

All yoga classes are traditional Hatha Yoga practices, suitable for beginners or more advanced yogis too. Classes are held in small groups, so there is more opportunity for personal correction, individual help. Language of teaching is English (with Hungarian translation if needed). Yoga classes starting with breathing exercises, followed by a gentle warm-up section, then going a little bit deeper in the postures and the practice of a few basic asana-flows. At the end of the class, we finish with deep relaxation and a short conversation about what we have practised and learned during the practice.

Workshops/games

All the workshop are related to yoga and self-development. Our guest speaker, inspirator, and teacher will be Gergely Schell, a meditation trainer, and psychologist, who will lead us on some of the meditation sessions and guide us in some workshops on Saturday and Sunday.
“We will be connected to ourselves and to reality through simple mindfulness-based practice. We will listen to ourselves and others, sit and walk in nature.” – promises Gergő.
