DESCRIPTION:a special women’s day improv theatre performance \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The „Girls don’t blink“ performance is a unique compliment for girls\, ladies and all women on the planeta. The czech improv group of „Us boys who go out together“ will help us celebrate this special day on Saturday 8th March and they will not leave us without joy and happiness. Everything can happen on the stage! Be ready for unexpected moves\, the funniest jokes and the most touching sentiments. They all will shake our bodies and souls tonight\, and bring sparkling bubbles in our lives. Simon\, Lukas\, Andrej and Vaclav are welcoming you on the 8th of March in the Gallery Room of Soppa de Azul Co-working and Studios in Las Palmas. The performance starts at 7 pm\, please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier. After the show you are welcome to stay for some home made snacks and local drinks (price for food and drinks is not included in the entrance contribution fee). The eve is not only for girls! 😊 We all should celebrate this day no matter of the gender. Please invite your family\, friends and business partners too! The Girls don’t blink performance is also a teasing event of the upcoming improv theatre camp where the talented Boys will share their knowledge about improv theathre and facilitate workshops in Las Palmas (The Den) and in Vega de San Mateo (Camino Art House). At the end of the camp you might particiapte in the final performance that will be the opening event of the Let me Bloom Art and Self-development Festival (Camino Art House\, 13-17 March).  About the group \n\n\n\nUs boys who go out togetherPrague\, Academy of Performing Arts. Ever since the boys met there they walk and talk and date on stage together. Starting their freeform improv each time from zero\, they pump the stage with movement\, rhythms\, voices\, acrobatics and a severe indulgement in bad folklore singing. Oh actually\, they never know! But isn’t it the best about it? \n\n\n\nImprovisation Theatre (in short: improv) is a joyful tool for expression\, self growth and learning about collaboration and interaction with others. With improv you learn self-confidence and body awareness while laughing a lot and spending your time with other funny people. \n\n\n\nThis 5 days will be about playing\, enjoying and having fun\, but at the end of the day you will be more confident\, more expressive with your words and with your body than ever! \n\n\n\nVenues \n\n\n\nWe have two vanues: Camino Art House (Vega de San Mateo) and The Den (Las Palmas). \n\n\n\nCamino Art House opened its doors in 2015. Since than we have offered accommodation and have run different projects with artists. This includes exhibitions\, workshops in art\, health and lifestyle topics\, and many more events. We welcome travellers who are always happy to be involved in our daily life and share their own experiences with us.We have an old building\, which is the central house\, and a large land\, where the camp will take place. We have caves\, meadows\, and terraces to use. We present the final show of the theatre camp here in Camino\, probably on the Rooftop Terrace. Camino is located in Vega de San Mateo\, easy to reach by bus 303 from San Telmo Park main bus station. The address is: Calle Vuelta del Molinos nr 1. This article will help you to find it. \n\n\n\nThe Den is a place that can transform itself. It can be an office\, a living room\, a study room\, a creative studio\, a photography laboratory or a rehearsal room. It can be many other things that we dream it for. It is all about the creativity and the need of us. We want the Den to be a meeting point to people who enjoy Camino Art House. The Den is a small Camino in the heart of the city. The maximum number of participants is 12. \n\n\n\nAbout the facilitators \n\n\n\nVáclav Wortner discovered improvisation in 2012 and steered his life fully towards theatre in all its forms. He studied devising acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and long-form improv at iO Chicago. He performs regularly in the Czech Republic and at international improv festivals in Europe (Tallinn\, Tampere\, Amsterdam\, Nancy\, Budapest). He has led improv workshops for actors in the Czech Republic\, Colombia\, Hungary\, France\, Ukraine\, Estonia\, Spain\, and the USA. \n\n\n\nLukas Bliss is an Australian-born performer\, dancer\, juggler\, and curious mind. A graduate of the Department of Nonverbal Theater at HAMU in Prague\, Lukas completed his master’s degree in 2020 with his solo piece LAVABO\, with which he was part of the selective Czech Dance Platform 2020. As a creator\, he focuses on combining physical theatre with object manipulation and play. He co-founded the impro company Us Boys\, Who go out Together\, and the new circus company Cink Cink Cirk\, both have toured much of Europe. In addition to his solo work\, he also collaborates with companies such as POCKETart\, Farm in the Cave\, Tantehorse\, Spitfire Company\, and La Putyka. His main branch of research revolves around illusion and improvisation connected to object manipulation and juggling. He searches for elements of play and interaction in his work\, striving to connect more with audiences and people around the whole world. He loves teaching workshops and having fun whilst searching for different ways people can improvise and play together \n\n\n\nMgA. Andrej Lyga. –  \n\n\n\nBorn in Slovakia. Mime\, physical actor. Focusing on masks and body expressions. Graduate of HAMU in Prague. A member of an improv group Us boys who go out together. \n\n\n\nŠimon Pliska is a graduate of the Department of Nonverbal Theatre at HAMU in Prague.His work focuses on comedy acting and clownery. He began to improvise while studying at the Ostrava Conservatory\, where he also founded the improvisation troupe “Impéčko”.Now you can see him playing with leading Czech actors in the successful performance “Saturnin”\, where he plays the title role\, or in the improvisational theatre “The Love Triangle”\, but his heart remains with the ensemble “Us boys who go out together”. Among other things\, Simon is also a film and TV actor. \n\n\n\nContribution \n\n\n\nThe Camp is open for everyone\, anytime. We set the contribution fee for classes/days\, so you can just show up any day and participate only on one day if you wish. If you decide to participate on more classes\, we made two packages for you: if you wish to participate on more days\, we give you discount: \n\n\n\nPrice for 1 day (3 classes on the first day or 2 classes on other days but the last day): 45€ \n\n\n\nPrice for 2 days (two days of your choice but the last day): 85€ \n\n\n\nPrice for 4 days (Sunday to Wednesday. DESCRIPTION:Let me Bloom ’25 – art and self-development festival \n\n\n\nLet Me Bloom is a mini art and self-development festival in the wild valley of Los Mireles\, in Vega de San Mateo\, Gran Canaria. Spring is the time when nature blooms and a new era of growing and maturing starts. We\, as humans\, need this growth more than ever. We need to unlearn our toxic habits and make space for real\, original values\, like empathy\, care\, creativity\, synchronicity and learning to live in harmony with nature and other beings around us. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTwo essential tools on this journey are art and education. You can be creative or just let yourself take it all in; everyone will be part of the whole. We are inviting you to participate in this mini festival\, where many artists\, performers and different teachers will share their knowledge and spread their passion to art so we can enjoy and grow in different skills\, like communication\, creativity or empathy. The festival takes place in Camino Art House. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are looking for facilitators and performers who understands and stands for the values that we represent. If you want to take part of the next Let me Bloom festival from 13 to 16 March\, 2025\, please send your introduction and portfolio to caminoart@caminoart.org until 20th February. \n\n\n\nThe festival is a small\, but inspiring three-day event in our magical valley. The venues of the different events\, performances and workshops will be hidden in the land\, in the caves\, and under the trees. We imagine beautiful\, inspiring and meaningful moments that we share while taking in\, practicing\, or performing art in nature. The mini stages will host all kinds of activities\, they might be performances\, where the audience is observing\, interactive shows where the audience is involved\, or workshops where the participants learn something new\, or practice a special skill. The artists\, performers\, and teachers might perform their own show at one time and teach a connecting (or totally different) skill at another time in a different venue. We are all artists\, and we are all students. Teaching and learning\, performing and in-taking art are almost the same\, we all meet in the beautiful line in the middle. \n\n\n\nFACILITIES \n\n\n\nThe facilities of the old house are limited\, so we have built extra showers and dry toilets in the land. The kitchen will be closed for public use in these days\, food\, coffee\, drinks will be available for extra moderate cost.Parking is NOT available on site. If you arrive by car\, you will need to park your vehicle in Madronal\, or in San Mateo and walk to Camino Art House. This distance is about 800-1200 meter. Be aware that there is NO pathway by the road so you will need to walk on the asphalt road with the traffic so always pay especial attention and carry a light with you.Our land is located in a valley\, moving around in the area can be challenging\, and sometimes needs special attention. For this reason – although we did our best to secure the area -\, we are asking you to be responsible for yourself and you will need to sign an individual disclaimer when entering the site. \n\n\n\nENTRANCE FEES AND OTHER COSTS \n\n\n\nThe entrance fee for the festival will be separated from the accommodation and restaurant fees. We share all the income from entrance fees between the artists/teachers. So the more of you come the festival\, the more we can give to these fantastic people\, and the more program/activities you can enjoy during these days. \n\n\n\nEntrance fee: 20€/friday\, 20€/saturday\, 20€/sunday\, 50€/full festival (more info later) \n\n\n\nAccommodation: private room/cave: 45€/room/night\, dorm: 20€/person/night\, tent: 18€/person/night (we provide the tent and equipment)\, 15€/own tent/person/night (you bring your own tent and equipment) \n\n\n\nWe offer food and basic accommodation for the facilitators.
