DESCRIPTION:Collective Creative Action \n\n\n\n11-14 February\, Camino Art House \n\n\n\nWe are inviting you to create\, build\, paint and enjoy our special space on these few days. \n\n\n\nYou can be involved in mural and furniture building and painting\, in collective collage painting and enjoy the company of other creative souls and meet our cats and dogs too! \n\n\n\nCollective Painting with Vesa: \n\n\n\nIn the workshop we make an artwork together. First we cut triangular pieces and then each participant paints a piece or two. In the end we attach them together. The method we use is spray paint with stencils. I will teach you how to cut stencils in the workshop or you can use the ones i cut already. The workshop is FREE of charge\, but you will need to contribute for the paint and supplies depending on how much you use. \n\n\n\nChair building with Adrienn and Tamas: \n\n\n\nCamino needs some updates in chairs. So we are lucky to host Adrienn and Tamas from Hungary who are managing a wood work workshop in a small village by the Danube Bend. After building the chairs you will have the chance to paint them! \n\n\n\nMural painting with Tanith and Tash: \n\n\n\nAmazing artist are visiting Camino from the UK! DESCRIPTION:a special women’s day improv theatre performance \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n The „Girls don’t blink“ performance is a unique compliment for girls\, ladies and all women on the planeta. The czech improv group of „Us boys who go out together“ will help us celebrate this special day on Saturday 8th March and they will not leave us without joy and happiness. Everything can happen on the stage! Be ready for unexpected moves\, the funniest jokes and the most touching sentiments. They all will shake our bodies and souls tonight\, and bring sparkling bubbles in our lives. Simon\, Lukas\, Andrej and Vaclav are welcoming you on the 8th of March in the Gallery Room of Soppa de Azul Co-working and Studios in Las Palmas. The performance starts at 7 pm\, please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier. After the show you are welcome to stay for some home made snacks and local drinks (price for food and drinks is not included in the entrance contribution fee). The eve is not only for girls! 😊 We all should celebrate this day no matter of the gender. We welcome travellers who are always happy to be involved in our daily life and share their own experiences with us.We have an old building\, which is the central house\, and a large land\, where the camp will take place. We have caves\, meadows\, and terraces to use. We present the final show of the theatre camp here in Camino\, probably on the Rooftop Terrace. The maximum number of participants is 12. \n\n\n\nAbout the facilitators \n\n\n\nVáclav Wortner discovered improvisation in 2012 and steered his life fully towards theatre in all its forms. He studied devising acting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and long-form improv at iO Chicago. He performs regularly in the Czech Republic and at international improv festivals in Europe (Tallinn\, Tampere\, Amsterdam\, Nancy\, Budapest). He has led improv workshops for actors in the Czech Republic\, Colombia\, Hungary\, France\, Ukraine\, Estonia\, Spain\, and the USA. \n\n\n\nLukas Bliss is an Australian-born performer\, dancer\, juggler\, and curious mind. A graduate of the Department of Nonverbal Theater at HAMU in Prague\, Lukas completed his master’s degree in 2020 with his solo piece LAVABO\, with which he was part of the selective Czech Dance Platform 2020. As a creator\, he focuses on combining physical theatre with object manipulation and play. He co-founded the impro company Us Boys\, Who go out Together\, and the new circus company Cink Cink Cirk\, both have toured much of Europe. In addition to his solo work\, he also collaborates with companies such as POCKETart\, Farm in the Cave\, Tantehorse\, Spitfire Company\, and La Putyka. His main branch of research revolves around illusion and improvisation connected to object manipulation and juggling. He searches for elements of play and interaction in his work\, striving to connect more with audiences and people around the whole world. He loves teaching workshops and having fun whilst searching for different ways people can improvise and play together \n\n\n\nMgA. Andrej Lyga. –  \n\n\n\nBorn in Slovakia. Mime\, physical actor. Focusing on masks and body expressions. Graduate of HAMU in Prague. A member of an improv group Us boys who go out together. \n\n\n\nŠimon Pliska is a graduate of the Department of Nonverbal Theatre at HAMU in Prague.His work focuses on comedy acting and clownery. He began to improvise while studying at the Ostrava Conservatory\, where he also founded the improvisation troupe “Impéčko”.Now you can see him playing with leading Czech actors in the successful performance “Saturnin”\, where he plays the title role\, or in the improvisational theatre “The Love Triangle”\, but his heart remains with the ensemble “Us boys who go out together”. Spring is the time when nature blooms and a new era of growing and maturing starts. We\, as humans\, need this growth more than ever. We need to unlearn our toxic habits and make space for real\, original values\, like empathy\, care\, creativity\, synchronicity and learning to live in harmony with nature and other beings around us. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTwo essential tools on this journey are art and education. You can be creative or just let yourself take it all in; everyone will be part of the whole. We are inviting you to participate in this mini festival\, where many artists\, performers and different teachers will share their knowledge and spread their passion to art so we can enjoy and grow in different skills\, like communication\, creativity or empathy. The venues of the different events\, performances and workshops will be hidden in the land\, in the caves\, and under the trees. We imagine beautiful\, inspiring and meaningful moments that we share while taking in\, practicing\, or performing art in nature. The mini stages will host all kinds of activities\, they might be performances\, where the audience is observing\, interactive shows where the audience is involved\, or workshops where the participants learn something new\, or practice a special skill. The artists\, performers\, and teachers might perform their own show at one time and teach a connecting (or totally different) skill at another time in a different venue. We are all artists\, and we are all students. Teaching and learning\, performing and in-taking art are almost the same\, we all meet in the beautiful line in the middle. \n\n\n\nFACILITIES \n\n\n\nThe facilities of the old house are limited\, so we have built extra showers and dry toilets in the land. The kitchen will be closed for public use in these days\, food\, coffee\, drinks will be available for extra moderate cost.Parking is NOT available on site. If you arrive by car\, you will need to park your vehicle in Madronal\, or in San Mateo and walk to Camino Art House. This distance is about 800-1200 meter. Be aware that there is NO pathway by the road so you will need to walk on the asphalt road with the traffic so always pay especial attention and carry a light with you.Our land is located in a valley\, moving around in the area can be challenging\, and sometimes needs special attention. For this reason – although we did our best to secure the area -\, we are asking you to be responsible for yourself and you will need to sign an individual disclaimer when entering the site. \n\n\n\nENTRANCE FEES AND OTHER COSTS \n\n\n\nThe entrance fee for the festival will be separated from the accommodation and restaurant fees. We share all the income from entrance fees between the artists/teachers. For once\, it’s not humans invading the oceans with boats\, noise\, and pollution. It’s the fish who emerge\, claiming our landscapes with surreal\, unnatural colors and a presence that feels both alien and strangely familiar. \n\n\n\nThrough the ancient technique of cyanotype\, the landscapes of the Canary Islands are stripped of their physical weight and transformed into a monochromatic sea\, fluid and undefined\, suspended somewhere between memory and dream. These are no longer solid grounds but liquid environments where fish glide effortlessly\, while we\, the observers\, remain on the outside\, separated by an invisible barrier. \n\n\n\nThe project proposes a radical shift in perspective. What if we are no longer the ones in control? What if what we call ours begins to be inhabited\, even governed\, by other forms of life\, quieter\, freer\, more instinctively in tune with the world? \n\n\n\nThis is more than a visual experiment. It is a conceptual reflection on the present moment. A world in which fish are no longer passive victims of human activity but active presences in a reimagined ecosystem. A quiet reminder that nature might outlive us and even reinvent itself without us. \n\n\n\nWelcome to a new world\, strange\, silent and deeply poetic\, where fish no longer swim in our oceans\, they swim through us.

For these five days we will have Camino Art House only for us and we will take our time with everything we do! It will seem strange at first\, but it is essential to learn how to retreat\, restart or recharge. We will give you tools that you can apply into your life to become more conscious\, balanced and healthier. The Zero Point has many different aspects and all has a similar approach: being in balance. It’s often associated with the concept of zero-point energy\, which is the lowest possible energy a system can have\, a foundational state of existence. The Zero Point is a state of pure potential\, limitless possibility\, and fundamental awareness\, often linked to quantum physics and meditation practices. It’s a concept that suggests a foundational state of being\, where everything originates and from which all things arise. Zero-point consciousness is viewed as a state of being where everything is possible\, a boundless realm of creative energy.  \n\n\n\nWhy slow down? \n\n\n\nYou are Here! And Now! Allow yourself this prescious moment! It takes practice to be able to find this conscious\, fulfilling state. The slow camp is a few days in the year when you can get familier with listening to your needs\, and maintin a gentle connection with yourself and your environment withoug judgments. You can learn\, or come back to this practice to bring to your every days. \n\n\n\nDo you ever give time for yourself to wander? To feel? To stay still? To be quiet? What happens when you don’t need to answer masseges\, or be available or you become silent? What happens in your body? In your soul? Maybe you found a beautiful spot in the land and you want to stay there longer\, or you want to take more time with your bathing ritual\, no problem\, take your own time! But if you decide to show up for the classes\, please arrive in time! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Principals:\n\n\n\nMindfulness: Mindfulness is the practice of paying attention to the present moment\, without judgment\, allowing awareness of thoughts\, feelings\, and sensations as they arise \n\n\n\nSimple living: it refers to practices that promote simplicity in one’s lifestyle. Common practices of simple living include reducing the number of possessions one owns\, depending less on technology and services\, and spending less money. During the camp you will be accommodated in caves (they are clean and cozy)\, you will have the opportunity to use dry toilets (and save water)\, or shower in the outdoor showers with cold water (and save power with not using the water boiler). We have filtered water\, so no need to buy your bottled water. We have a second-hand clothes shop\, where you can find pieces for 1€ if you need more layers\, so you can travel with a small bag. \n\n\n\nYutori: a japanese concept of spaciousness. It refers to slowing down to simply breathe\, and savor life – intentionally creating space to relax and reflect without being under constant pressure. Nobody will force you to hurry up! \n\n\n\nDigital detox: the camp is mostly device free. We invite you to use your phone/computers/music device only one hour a day\, including the sleeping hours. We will agree on this hour together. Giving up on devices will encourages awareness of technology use and is aimed at mitigating digital dependency and promoting offline engagement. \n\n\n\nNon-judgmental: Practicing being not judgmental with ourselves will benefit us with learning how to be non-judgmental with others. With inner observation we get to a state of being where one observes the world without being attached to the experiences or emotions\, acting as an inner witness\, and let go of judgmental perceptions.   \n\n\n\nNoble silence: During the camp we practice noble silence until the end of the breakfast (from waking up until 10am) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFood / food making\n\n\n\nWe prepare our food together\, we will ask you to sign up for each meal to help. All the others are welcome to help as well\, but we need to know to whom we can count on. We will eat very simple but whole vegan food\, adjusting to the „slow food” principals. If you are following a special timing in your diet (for example fasting or intermitten fasting) feel free to pack for later\, we are happy to provide boxes.
